When I got out of school as a kid, I would stop by home for a quick snack and then head outside to play in the forest with my friends. We’d play games, explore creeks, climb trees, trade things, pretend we were a tribe and most importantly stay out until our parents called us in for dinner.

Come play on a 250 acre working farm after school. Baby animals, a fishing pond, archery and miles of room for adventures and play. What could be a better way to wind down after a focused day of school.

Enjoy Tuesday afternoons on Tara Firma Farm playing in nature with our experienced nature mentors. Exploring the creek and pond, visiting and caring for farm animals, and sharing stories and songs around a campfire at the day's end.

In addition to our core curriculum this camp may include:

  • Caring for farm animals (chickens, cows, pigs, goats & more)
  • Archery
  • Fishing
  • Basics of ecological farming
