VILDA NATURE DAYS
SCHOOL YEAR NATURE CONNECTION FOR KIDS
Ages 6-12 • Fairfax Or Petaluma
Simple, grounded, much needed outdoor time meets expert naturalist instruction and social/emotional attention. We spend the day exploring the creeks and hillsides of our beautiful area and form relationships with each other, the land and the plants and animals.
Our core curriculum guides us as we learn earth skills that were once a way of life and now too rare. We play, listen, laugh, sing, hike and come back a bit dirtier than we left to share the stories of the day.
This is not just outdoor play time, though that by itself would be powerful. This is a unique opportunity to learn about our natural world together, expand our awareness and build a caretaking ethic that will lead us into the hopeful future.
Join us outside one day each week or more.

NATURE DAY - Fairfax - 1 Day a Week
Ages: 6½-12
When: 9:30am - 3:30pm, Thursdays, Jan 11 - Jun 6, 2024
Days off: Feb 22, April 11
Location: Open space 10 minutes from downtown Fairfax
Tuition
$100 non-refundable deposit plus 5 monthly payments of:
Rate A: $517
Rate B: $395
Rate C: $324

With our very varied economical situations in the Bay Area, families have differing abilities to pay. We want our programs to serve as many children as possible regardless of financial situation.
Rate A - represents the actual cost of running a program in this area and is comparable with the rates of several local specialty camps. It funds our long-term goals and work.
Rate B - covers our basic costs for running this particular program, but it does not cover our organizational costs.
Rate C - does not cover the cost of program and is subsidized by Rate A and donations.

FARM DAY PETALUMA
This program is similar to our other Nature Days, but includes visits with farm animals and farm themed activites

Location: Rust Hinges Ranch, Petaluma
