HOLIDAY BREAK Camp

Come enjoy the holiday season outdoors. With the animals as our teachers, we make fires and shelters to stay warm in cold and rain. We track the path of jack frost and notice little tracks in the mud, could those be elves? Sometimes we splash in puddles and experience the cold and wet and at others we stay cozy doing seasonal crafts, listening to stories and sipping wildcrafted tea. True to our routines of gratitude and the spirit of the season we give thanks to the abundance of nature and our plant and animal teachers by thinking of holiday gifts for them.
In addition to our core curriculum, this camp may include:

Location: This is a van-based camp with pick-up and drop-off in town. We will travel to various locations within 20 minutes of San Rafael.
Tuition for each three-day session - discounted for full session
Rate A: $442
Rate B: $369
Rate C: $314

With our very varied economical situations in the Bay Area, families have differing abilities to pay. We want our programs to serve as many children as possible regardless of financial situation.
Rate A - represents the actual cost of running a program in this area and is comparable with the rates of several local specialty camps. It funds our long-term goals and work.
Rate B - covers our basic costs for running this particular program, but it does not cover our organizational costs.
Rate C - does not cover the cost of program and is subsidized by Rate A and donations.

Snow Play Day - Truckee
Drop off your kids to play in the snow for a day with our expert naturalists and teachers. We will play winter games, track animals in the snow and make a fire to roast a treat on. This day is sure to be a fun winter memory. It is also a chance for the adults to have their own play or work day while their kids have a meaningful experience enjoying this beautiful landscape.
